Our Philosophy

We listen to the people we serve, tailor design to their lives and work, and steward every resource entrusted to us — so the spaces we craft together serve well for generations.

Tailored Solutions. Generational Impact.

We serve people who value thoughtful, collaborative design.

Our Story
Founded in 2009, by Steve Hassevoort as InForm Architecture, EH Goodman Architects grew from a simple conviction: that architecture should be less about self-expression and more about guiding people toward solutions that truly fit their needs. Rooted in Kalamazoo and southwest Michigan, we've built our practice on listening, collaboration, and stewardship — carrying that same foundation forward.

Clients often come to us thinking they need a building, but what we find is they are truly seeking guidance. They feel the weight of complex choices and limited resources, and they want a trusted partner who will listen, simplify, and walk with them. What they seek most is peace of mind — the confidence that their project will reflect their people, their purpose, and their values.

How We Work:

Listen — We begin by understanding your people, your purpose, your constraints.

Tailor — Like a suit fitted to its wearer, every solution is shaped to its context. No off-the-shelf answers.

Steward — We treat your time, trust, and resources as if they were our own.

Build for Generations — We design with the future in mind, creating spaces meant to endure.

The result is more than a building — it's the confidence that your project reflects your people, your purpose, and your trust.

We are committed to lifelong learning.

We have established an Internship Program to foster young designers as they begin their professional careers.
